I have heard a lot of people recommend the South Beach Diet for weight loss, and the book says that it was developed as a "diabetes diet." Will the diet really help lower my risk for diabetes?

I have had good luck with the prepackaged, Wraps and other convenience food items from South Beach. It is helping and I have lost about 10 lbs. (Many more to go...)
