Well Hello.  I have had type 1 for many, many years.  I was first diagnosed way back when the only way of telling how your sugar levels were while at home was with a test tube and drips of urine.  Ring a bell, anyone?  But now a days, I am happy to say, I use Novolog and an insulin pump.  In short, the switch to the pump 5 years ago was revolutionary with great results!!  I have decided to post in order to connect with others and share support and ideas - I know those responding will have truly walked a mile in my shoes - and vice versa.
