Diabetes causes a number of complications, the hardest for me at this time is the lost of vision. I can see some,but I can not drive or read a book without a large reading machine. I am on the pump and have a hand held pico magnifier so that I can see how much to bolus. Most of my life I have been independent and held a job. Now if anyone is out there who thinks it can't happen to you take care the best you can. I have been diabetic for 58 years, and my desire is to see a cure before I die. Love all of you who struggle from hour to hour and day to day. peggyjarratt
