Research on foxtail millet on its effects on Blood Sugar and Its GI .- 2 papers

A paper titled “DEVELOPMENT OF MILLET BASED LOW GLYCEMIC COMPOSITE FLOUR FOR DIABETIC PATIENTS” by Dr. Ankita Sharma PhD. and Dr. Maya Chowdry  has extensive information on the benefits of Foxtail Millet.

For more details please look it up on the internet. The conclusion of Dr. Sharma is that the flour made with equal parts of Millet,Barley and Bengalgram when made into a Roti(Indian Bread) has a GI of 34.
