Splenda in ice ceam

My father said that when he didn't eat any more ice cream with Splenda his sugar count went down. He says that when he eats ice cream sweetened wth sugar his count does't go up. He doesn't eat ice cream on a regular basis.

headaches and diabetes

I was just recently diagnosed with diabetes type 2 . For the past week seems no matter what I do my sugar is high and I have had a constant headache for over a week now. I have not called the doctor to be honest I am afraid . Any ideas? I feel so alone and like noone understands what I am dealing with on a day to day basis.
