Tooting my horn!!!

I thought I would stop by and toot my horn: I have been on Byetta for 1 1/2 years and I am doing great! My A1c on 12/9/08 was 5.5 and my BP was 128/68 I now have lost 48 pounds - it is slow coming off but I do know I have to work on more walking. How nice would it be to one day wake up and be stress free because you're able to get the medications you need to be able to live a normal life without it causing you financial bankruptcy? I'm at the end of my rope. It's very hard to have to decide whether to eat, have a roof over you're head or stay alive by taking the meds you need... Read more Chevron

Frustrated with daughter's doctor!

My daughter was diagnosed as a diabetic Type 2 in 2006 and has been able to control her diabetes by weight loss, diet (low carb) and exercise.
