What can anyone tell me about this. I was just recently diagnosed with type 2. I had some problems and the NP referred me for a EMG test. It came back positive. Why am i tired

I exercise every day and also watch my diabetic intake. But I am still tired and have no energy. I just turned 50 and do not have much stress. I need to loose about 40 pounds. My question is why am I so tired still?
