Really good news

I just got my 6month HBa1C results and it was a 5.8! I've gone from 10 to 5.8 in 6 months. Triglycerides from 499 to 102, total cholesterol from 300 to 170 (the lowest it has ever been). I'm a daughter of a type 2 diabetic, and theres a good chance that down the line i too will have this. This thing is tearing and eating away at me, my dads condition keeps getting worse and worse as time goes by.
