My daughter was diagnosed 2years ago-age 14- and is still considered in the "honeymoon stage" This means her total intake of insulin based on body weight is very low (equal to the insulin dose of a 5 year old)because her pancreas is still producing insulin. Thanks to all of you who responded to my sharepost! I really appreciate reading all your thoughts and wordsof wisdom! I hope you'll all be doing better as we all struggle to manage our diabetes.
