Q: Can hypoglycemia turn into type one diabetes?

for three years, I have been dealing with low blood sugar.Recently: I lost weight, really itchy, use the bathroom more, more hungry, tingling of the hands, shaky hands, pins and needles feeling, emotional, headaches,migraines, irritability, heart palpitations, thirsty, and I have a weird smell of my breath that only I can smell.

Hypoglycemia does not cause diabetes.  If you have type1, it is usually set off by a virus, which turns on the autoimmune system.  For some reason we are trying to figure, the auto immune system turns and starts killing off beta cells, which produce insulin.  

 

If you think you have type1, you need to get to the doc quickly, because the longer you suffer high blood sugar, the harder it is on your whole body!  Statistics show that people who wait to be diagnosed actually have greater risk for complications.  So don't wait, go have the test immediately!
