I am getting samples of the Byetta 5 from my doctor and want to go to 10 but cannot afford the medication. I don't mind taking two shots if it would be effective.

yes you can, i recently was without insurance for two months and got samples from my doctor. he only had byetta 5 and i take byetta 10. so he gave them to me and i took two shots twice a day isntead of one shot twice a day. you didn't say that the doctor had raised you from 5 to 10, so i would advise you to check with him to make sure he approves. remember also if you are going from 5 to 10 there will be another round of nausea. for me it always felt like motion sickness and i would have to lay down for about 1/2 to 3/4 of an hour before the queazys would go away. also, i only used the one needle for both of the shots.

I don't take the needle out, but just turn the dial to the next step and push the plunger a second time. I also wondered whether the transmitted liquid contained anything that would be harmful if doubled. I wondered if studies had been done testing the doubling of the injectible.
