Hi Nicole. I am on the new Animas Ping, and I love it. I have used the Animas pump for a few years now. The training you get at home is from a clinical nurse and she/he stays with you for however long it takes not only to get your sugar in the normal range but to know how to use you pump (they are in daily contact with your doctor). I recommend the Animas. If you would like to ask me any questions about pumping feel free to email me.
