Hello! The Sensor for the CGM is inserted under the skin of the abdomen.  The sensor measure's your level of glucose every 10 seconds or 5 seconds and sends the information to the moniter and it will alarm if your bg's is high or low.  Gina is an expert for our community and she just received her CGM.  Here is a link to her sharepost, she talks about her experience w/ the CMG.
