As a person with Diabetes the best advise is for you to discuss with your doctor on what he/she feels is the best time to test.  Usually you test before a meal and 2 hours after that meal and betime.  It is also best to alter times like before breakfast and two hours later  then next day maybe lunch and supper ect.
