My husband is an insulin dependent diabetic with diabetic neuropathy. His A1c levels are about 6.3 Our doctor says that is ok for him. Would being an AVR patient on coumadin be causing the problem?

I don't think that either the aortic valve replacement or the coumadin is the cause.
Hope this helps!
