Q: I have Hypoglycemia and my doctor also thinks I have PCOS because of my hair growth etc..(though I have fine periods) I was given metformin. I am worried taking diabetes meds to lower my blood sugar?

I am afraid to take meds to lower my blood sugars when I get to low I get horribly sick. He did no tests on me, though I do have a history of cysts on my ovaries and I am over weight but there are other factors in to play with that. But my periods are regular. Since taking the meds I have been craving candy and am very moody.
