U cannot get out from it. u have to live with it in a positive frame of mind.
The key is learning everything you can about diabetes. The internet has good information, glycemic index of foods etc. I started with the glycemic index and testing 2 hours after I ate to discover how different foods effected my blood sugar. My theory was to eat right, I studied the food pyrimid. It all seems so complicated but just take it one day at a time and get educated. Learn how your body reacts to particular foods. For instance, I can eat a small piece of cornbread but absolutely cannot eat a biscuit. Carrots elevate my blood sugar. Good Luck to you!
