Is Byetta safe or harmful while trying to concieve-doctor is no help- and who can I consult?

My doctor isn't a real big help, she doesn't listen to us. As we have been trying for close to a year to concieve and we've told her many times this, and she just now pointed out that one of my medications is harmful to a fetus if I were to get pregnant. So any help would be...
