Can neuropathy be only in the upper thigh of only one leg?

I am diabetic and recently started getting tingling in my upper thigh area that causes sleep problems< Could this be a kind of neuropathy?

I am diabetic also but when I hurt my lower back is the time the top of my thigh went numb. Neuropathy can happen even when your not a diabetic, but it is a complication of diabetes.

Keeping your sugar in control is the most important thing to do.  My suggestion for you would be to see your doctor and maybe get a MRI. Good luck. Rose
