MY HUSBAND HAD BEEN CONTROLLING IT WITH A DIET. HE ALSO HAS TAKEN HIS MEDICINE BUT LATELY HE HAS HAD IT HIGH. COULD IT BE STRESS BECAUSE WHERE WE WORK THEY ARE GOING TO START LAYING OFF PEOPLE.

He needs to have an A1C test taken to see what the average blood glucose is. Readings that high are a call for action. Either the diet needs to be modified or medication adjusted or changed. I'm always stressed out but pills, insulin and eating somewhat wisely keeps things where they should be.
