Q: I was just diagnosed with frozen shoulder. Should I be tested for diabetes?

I started having pain, stiffness and limited motion in my right shoulder (non-dominant side) about 5-6 weeks ago.  I saw my GP 3 weeks ago and she gave me a prescription for an anti-inflammatory which did nothing.  I saw an orthopaedic Dr. yesterday who took x-rays and diagnosed frozen shoulder.  I'm on a 7 day steriod treatment and will begin PT.  However after doing research on the Internet and the connection to diabetes I'm wondering if I should be tested since there was no known cause for the shoulder pain.
