Q: Antioxidants not good for type 2?

I am borderline type 2 diabetic. I am not overweight, I am a 65 year old male, 5'11" and weigh 149lb. I just read that too much antioxidant vitiamins can result in a higher resistance in body cells to insulin. Any comments on that?
