If I take Byetta 10 two times per day and Amaryl two times per day and by fasting sugar is still 197, what are some effects I can expect if the dr adds Lantus to my daily regimen. I worked hard for 5 months to drop 43 pounds and now after adding a cholesterol med, fish oil pills and daily vitamin I have gained 8 pounds in 3 wks. Dr wants to add Lantus, just wondering what to expect. Shirl
