Q: Hello,My father is 65+ and has diabetes. He has complains about hearing loss.

Hello,My father is 65+ and has diabetes. He has complains about hearing loss. I had purchased him a Siemens hearing aid, but he says, it is too noisy.Which doctor should i consult for his treatment. Would an ENT do or are there any doctors who specialize in curing diabetic hearing loss. Please advice. I want to see my father happy again. I am from Darjeeling, India and the best place for treatment would be Siliguri or Kolkata.

ENT would be the specialist to see. Hearing loss can be due to lots of reasons, but diabetes isn't high on the list.

Best wishes.
