Q: i have pcos. my fasting blood sugars are in the 70's. A non-fasting blood sugar was 96. My HgA1c was 6.0. I am 48, 5'4" and weigh 160. I have RA and take 5m prednisone/daily. I feel fine. Do I worry?

I weighed 300 lb most of my adult life and have been "thin" for 14 years with no hint of diabetes. I did weigh 11 lbs at birth. My obese mom isn't diabetic nor are obese sibs. I do take Methotrexate too. Having had a gastric bypass 14 years ago, I don't eat much to begin with..........I guess I just need to kick up the exercise and weights right? or could the A1c be falsely high d/t drugs that I take?
