Q: How does sugar alcohol affect blood sugar levels

I buy things that say they are sugar free, but in the contents description it says that there is sugar alcohol in these items, should I avoid using them?

sugar alcohol is NOT absorbed- that is precisely why they are artificial sweeteners- sweet taste, but no sugar absorption- however, since they are not absorbed, they may lead to diarrhea, so if you're spending 'quality time' in the john, maybe avoid them- good luck and remember- sugar is fun and alcohol is fun, so sugar alcohol can't be that bad
