diabetic & pregnant the Dr. is inducing at 37 wks, can i wait?

Hello! You can wait if you want. Did your Doctor tell you it's a medical issue or is he just inducing you? I am a Diabetic also and I was induced at 37 weeks because of the Diabetes. My OB and I made the decision to do so at the early stage of my pregnancy. He said as long as the baby is healthy I should think about it. I did and my daughter is fine. If you are concerned about being induced, talk to your Dr about it. He should be able to address your concerns. Congrat's and enjoy the baby while he or she is a baby.
