Roise-   If your meter is reading high, you could go for a walk or if you are on insulin bolus.  When does your blood sugar read high, before or after you eat? Could your medication need an increase? those are some things you might want to watch. If you notice your bg's are high after you eat, you may want to adjust the number of carbs your eating and I would also talk to your physician.  He or she will need to know, they will be able to determine if they need to make a medication change.     Cherise Community Moderator
