Linguine, clam sauce and bread / Prednizone / Pecan Pie / Leviguin(antibiotic)

all DROP my blood sugar between 20 & 30 points. One cup of rice will spike it. Any ideas ?

Dear Phil,

 

Rice is high glycemic and will spike anyone's blood glucose level.

 

But be glad that in your case the linguine, the bread, and the pecan pie won't. That is VERY unusual, if you are correct. Did you test your blood glucose before the meal and exactly two hours after the first bite?
