If you are checking your blood glucose levels regularly, you can answer this question yourself. You want few enough grams of carbs at each meal to be able to maintain a normal bg level.
For me, that's no more than 15-20 grams of carbs with each meal.

If you are overweight, you should have between 50 and 99 carbs a day. If you want to maintain your weight, 100 to 150 carbs a day. Anything over 150 carbs a day and you will gain weight. Low carbs equal excellent blood sugars as a Diabetic.
