Q: Dawn Syndrome

After learning about dawn syndrome I`m truly not sure if I`m diabetic or not. I have had 3 AIC`s 5.2, 5.4, and 5.4 But it`s not hurting me eating healthier and maybe preventing diabetes since my mother died from it...I have also learned here about not having a fasting blood draw in the early morning which I have always done eating very light the day before and and not eating anything after 6:00 so when I have the blood draw it`s been 14hrs or more since eating anything....Since reading all your posts I have been eating like 20 almonds in the early am and have dropped my morning levels from 135-145 to 115-117 would like to lower it more thinking of adding a little milk with the nuts or maybe a few less nuts...Also does anyone know why the difference in blood testing from one hand to the other I can have a 135 in one hand and 115 in the other and my hands have been washed...Thank everyone you have been a big help : O )
