Hi Karen,   Normal blood sugars fluctuate, but a good standard range would be: under 100 mg/dl upon waking in the morning; under 140 mg/dl one hour after eating; under 120 mg/dl two hours after a meal.    Non-diabetics tend to always run between 70 mg/dl and 120 mg/dl, depending on time of day, recent meals, and activity level.   Hope that helps!
