My son-in-law says he's not a diabetic-but when he works he get very weak and almost passes out-a friend will give him a candy bar! then he ok-he thinks this is right! I have diabeties, I'm now on all insulin-I go up high and down low, Dr. is trying to regulate...so they sound a lot like the feelings i have when I'm low. Judy-

Hello! There is a lot of information on hypoglycemic.  Click here, it will take you to more information on hypoglycemic and diabetes. I would try to urge your son-in-law and friend to get tested for diabetes, it's better to know than not know at all.

The main symptom of diabetes is high blood sugar, not low.

Some folks have hypoglycemia where there blood sugar goes low when they don't eat often enough.

60 is not all that low for someone without diabetes.

Advise your friend to eat smaller meals more oftn.
