Q: Anyone experience skipping heart beats from insulin?

I experience skipping heart beats (PVCs) when I take insulin so bad sometimes I can not sleep. When I stop the insulin, they stop. Although they do not completely go away, I can go for days without them and then maybe feel just a couple.  It is very frustrating.  I don't know what to do and it seems my doctor doesn't either.

I experience skipped heartbeats after taking insulin all the time.  I too am at a loss (as well as my md).  I have had every test available (heart good).  I know it is realated to hthe insulin.  Drives me crazy

I have been a type I diabetic for about 15 years but recently have become a type 2. My doctor started me on insulin (10 units each night) to bring my blood sugars down to a reasonable amount (6). When I wasn't able to get the blood sugar below 18 I started to take 30 units and now I am experiencing a strange sensation in my neck and heart area (like dull flutters) that is why I am researching this online. My doctor hasn't been able to answer my quastions about whether I am experiencing a reaction to the insulin or whether I am insulin resistant and this could be a problem like Metabolic X Syndrome.
