Q: After exercise my glucose drops to @85. Do I need to eat. What level optimum?

I do not take any medication for my type 2 diabetes.

You are doing great and do not need to eat if your blood glucose is about 85 AFTER exercise.

 

Dr. Richard K. Bernstein said recently that a level of 82 or 83 is normal.

 

If your level had dropped to 70 or below, yes, in that case you would want to eat something that would raise your level back to normal.
