I take insulin and find my blood sugar twice a day [(40 units in am) and (15 in pm)].

With these, I find more pain than I can take, sometimes skipping the blood sugar test.

I know this is detrimental to my diabetes management but it hurts. Is there anything I

can do to help.

Babuman-

Hello! Have you tried looking into getting a Continuous Glucose Monitoring System and a Insulin pump?  I use to feel the way I do about insulin injections. I talked to my Endo about an insulin pump and I love it. IThe best thing about the pump is it allows more freedom and it helps you get better control of your diabetes. The CGM is awesome! I don't have one yet. I am waiting for it to be integrated with the insulin pump I have now. You only have to physically check your bg's twice a day (depending on the machine). You will also be able to see what your bg's are doing at all times.   If you are interested in the 2 you should talk to your Physician and he or she will guide you in the right direction
