Hi Pina,

 

Amy Tenderich wrote a great sharepost called "War of the Sugar Substitutes. " You can read the entire article here. She gives some great information about the ingredients in sugar substitutes.


She also mentions stevia. Now Stevia is an all natural ingredient and a little goes a long long way. Dave Mendosa, one of the resident experts here, wrote a sharepost here about Stevia. He also compares Splenda and Stevia in this sharepost. David also wrote a sharepost about the problems with non caloric sweeteners for diabetics. You can read that here.
