Q: About type 2 diabetic

I monitor my BG every day Morning after B/fast after lunch and dinner. Its always different but morning when I wake up always higher. How much is supposed to be. Its always more than 110. Thank you

Hi, upon waking a fastin BG of 110 is not a bad thing, I run from the 80s to about 105.  You say more than 110 how much more would be nice to know.  There are a couple of things that can cause elevated BG in the am you can read about them here http://www.dlife.com/dLife/do/ShowContent/inspiration_expert_advice/expert_columns/garnero_0106.html

Your blood sugar readings should be taken BEFORE a meal.  The doctors usually want it between 90 and 120 before breakfast.
