I feel the difference, but he says I am not a diabetic, I feel the symptoms and have checked my sugar and at times in is around 127, but I feel shaky, confused and the I get very nervous and hungry. I has dropped to 59. I have told him all this and keep track for a week. blood work shows a 6 for the ????  blood work. I am Obese and have been trying to control this by diet. I know I am prone (many of the symptoms and health issues as well as a parent/grandparent with late life diabetes)

If you've been having high blood sugars  routinely, you can feel low even when you're not. And low blood sugar often precedes full-blown diabetes, as it indicates your blood sugar control is not good.

Even if your doctor won't diagnose you with diabetes, I'd suggest living as if you had diabetes, watching your carbohydrate intake and trying to get as much exercise as you're able.

A healthy low carbohydrate diet (meaning one that includes nonstarchy vegetables; not just meat and cheese) can help control blood sugar swings, and it may also help you to lose some weight. The weight loss should reduce your insulin resistance and help control your blood sugars as well.

Is it a fasting blood sugar check you have done? if not you have to do this test

besides the so called glucose tolerence test.

you are a dietabetic. Its not controlled but your not feeling it yet. You will if you dont control your sugar!!!! There alot of people not feeling it but walking around with diabetes. Find a good Dietabetic Doctor and let him check it fasting and let him do a a1c test on your blood. he can tell how your sugar has been fro three months .
