Helen-

Hello! There are a few things you can do to bring your blood glucose levels up.  I know a lot of people use different things.  I know a lot of people use glucose gel, o.j., and glucose tablets just to name a few.  I have been use glucose tablets. I like them because you can take 3 tablets and your blood glucose raise quickly. After I take the tablets I follow-up with peanut butter or cheese crackers; I don't like to crash back to back.

You can buy the glucose gel and tablets at your local pharmacy in the diabetic section.

Good luck,

Cherise

Cherise, why would you take those yucky glucose tablets or the gel when it's a golden opportunity to have some sugar that you like? Like a real coke or some 7-up?

Even if you're out in public, there's always a gas station that sells pop or candy.

I would have those tablets only as a last resort when there is nowhere to get something yummy. Of course you can't pig out on it, but 4 ounces of 7-up is like ambrosia compared to that stuff.
