Q: Should sugar levels EVER go to 371 in normal person like 10 minutes after eating.

My loved one is having high levels up to 371 right after eating then dropping to like 79 or 88 with in 30 minutes after eating. Diabetes runs in our family , I was told no matter if you eat a whole bag of candy it is not normal for your blood sugar to go above 200 at any time after eating. Is this correct?

No your Blood sugar should never be 371 in a normal healthy person. There are several reasons why some one's sugar could go high including meds. Best thing to do is get a simple blood test done called A1C. This test will let you know what your blood sugar average has been over the last 2 to 3 months.
