I think it would be great to test my blood and record it to some sort of application on my cell that uploads to a central site where all my stat's are kept. does anyone know of something like that?

Hello! I think I found the answer for you, the only problem is---not sure when it will be coming to the market. Kim is an expert for our site and she wrote a sharepost on GlucoPhone – Glucometer and Cell Phone in One!, click here (it will take you to the article).
The share post talks about the GlucoPhone, it's a device that hooks into your cellphone and allows you to test your bg's and record them at the same time. I hope this helps.
