I am diabetic and suffering from what I now understand to be diabetic distal symmetric polyneuropathy. I have had a lower back pain for over 10 yrs. recently ( a year or so ago) I starteed feeling numbness in my feet and now I can ffeel it in the arm as well. The pain is excruciating especially if i've not taken pain killers (diclofenac), which seems to less effectively now.
