Q: Agave nectar versus honey or maple syrup.. is it really better or better to just avoid them all?

I am curious to know how the experts feel about agave nectar - the bottle claims it has a "low glycemic index" but it is essentially a fructose concentrate and David Mendosa keeps cautioning against using fructose.  Anyway, it's delicous!  But so is honey and maple syrup... is one really "better" than the other for people with diabetes?
