Can I take Byetta with Avandamet 4/500?

Hi Danny,

 

Thank you for your question! There is no interaction between Byetta and Avandamet directly, but I can't say for sure whether it's okay without knowning what other medications you may be taking or what other medical conditions you may have. If your doctor has prescribed this regimen for you and you just want to make sure it's okay to take the two medications together then the answer is yes, but beyond that I can't offer you much help without knowing more about your particular situation.
