I'd ask whether anyone with diabetes can take glucosamine+chondroitin.

My father has diabetes type 2, taking Diamicron and Diamet. He's 81 years old and has some problem on joints. He now takes Salmon Fish Oil and Calcimate Plus 800 per day. I'd like to add Glucosamine on his intake but not sure. And will this supplement be accumulated in the body if taking long time?
