Per American Diabetes Association a person with diabetes should keep there blood glucose levels at 70-130 (5.0-7.2 mmol/l)before meals, 180 ( less than10.0 mmol/l) below after meals. There are many ways to bring your blood sugar down but it varies from person to person. You should contact your Doctor if you are noticing high blood sugars for more than 2 days. He may need to make medication adjustments, You may need to exercise or eat less carbs. The best answer is to consult your Doctor on how to get your blood sugar down.
