Tuesday, October 13, 2009 Mississippi girl asks

Q: I have been a diabetic for 57 years and have been on an insulin pump for about 4 years.

I can't seem to get my pump set to where if I want to skip a meal my blood sugar will stay with-in my normal range.  My bloodsugar will usually run high if I skip lunch and then it will be high at supper time.  I have done a morning breakfast basal test and it runs good.  Do other people on insulin pumps have this problem?  I would love to hear from people on insulin pumps on what problems they encounter.
