Q: what happens when you take anabolic steroids when you have diabetes?

you hit 70+ home runs, but with a high blood sugar- ok, specifically the steroids will increase insulin resistance, so you'll need to make sure you're not running too high after meals- if so, you'll need to decrease CHO at the meal or need more medicine/insulin coverage for the meal

Your blood sugar skyrockets.

I was on them for a week and my BG went from 100 to 258 after a meal, and stayed there for hours on end. Taking my next dose of meds didn't bring it down more than 30 mg/dL. I had to stop taking the 'roids.
