In my case depression is actually a sign of low blood sugar. I know when I start feeling really down and it doesn't make a lot of sense that I need to eat something. Diabetes is already a big block on your back and when you pile on depression and stress they all just feed on each other a become bigger. I wish I had a magic potion to reduce stress but you could try what I do, stop doing what ever is stressing you and go and do something healthy that you know you will have fun doing. Not scientific or medically proven but it does help me.
